At some point, most users had freeware games or applications installed on their PC's. The internet itself is freeware with massive collections of scripts, information, tools and games like arcade and backgammon freeware that are totally free. Online games like pinball, solitaire or backgammon need not be expensive. If you are tight on a budget, you can download pinball, solitaire or backgammon freeware with even spending a single dime. Even if the author releases a paid version of the same program, you can still continue using the freeware version without breaking any rules.
