Backgammon Rules > Rules Backgammon
Understanding the rules backgammon is not that difficult. The main objective of the game is to move all of your checkers into your home board and then remove them from the board. The first player to remove or bear off the 15 checkers from the board is the winner. Based on the rules backgammon, there are 3 ways to win this game. You can win by bearing off your checkers before your opponent. You can also win if your opponent refuses to accept your proposal to double the stake. And the easiest one is when your opponent abandons the game which automatically makes you the winner.
You first roll both dice on each turn. Move one or more checkers, after rolling the dice. The number rolled on each die determines how many points you can move. Your checker can only be moved to an open point where one is not occupied by two or more of your opponent's checkers. Each die is equivalent to a separate move. Use as many of your die rolls as possible, even when doing so is not to your advantage. Make one legal move if it's available. Use the higher number if either move would be legal. You lose a turn if no legal move is available.
These are just some of the rules backgammon that you should learn. You can find more backgammon tips and lessons by visiting online backgammon guides which can be found all over the net.
