In order to play backgammon you first have to know the basic rules of backgammon. The main objective of this board game is to be the first to remove all 15 checkers from the board. To start the game, the starting player is decided and in order to decide which player begins first, each will throw one of the two dice. The one who gets the higher value initiates the game. The player that starts the game moves according to the value of the dice score. He can either divide the dice score to two separate checker movements or use both dice to transfer one backgammon checker across the board. After his first movement, it's the opponent's turn as he throws the dice and moves. According to the rules of backgammon, the player that succeeds in bearing off all of his checkers first is the winner of the game.
